oval cape

I recently saw a BEAUTIFUL cape made of oatmeal sherpa fabric backed with some black fabric. It was just an oval with opening for arms. She said it was purchased from tjmaxx but I cannot find it there. I think it could be made quite easily. I would need a pattern though. Any ideas?

I don't have a picture unfortunately. I saw it on a lady at a Christmas gathering.

how about you do a google search image and see what that brings up. then send me the images at joanbauer@verizon.net. I can show/tell you how to make a pattern from the picture. I do this all the time....as I did with a bridal gown I made last year. see if that helps.......if not, contact me. be glad to help!

You might try searching for oval 'shawl' rather than cape....
