I am looking for Lycra stretch fabric in both light pink and dark peacock blue. Also stretch sequined lace in peacock blue. I am making recital dresses for my granddaughter's American Girl dolls. I started with the obvious...Joann's...but have not found what I need. I've been scouring thrift shops for prom gowns, clearance sales, everywhere I can think of. Does anyone have any scraps in dark peacock blue they would be willing to sell me. The outfit is for an Acro routine so it is a short legged leotard with a separate piece of lace running horizontal across the body covering one arm and the opposite leg....kind of unusual but pretty at the same time.....it's a dance costume after all!.
Anyone have any suggestions as to where I might find such fabric? No luck online so far either...any particular websites you might know of? Any sources you might use? I probably wouldn't need more than half yard.
The pink is for a different ballet costume but can't find the shade of pink that I need. Has to be a light pink.
