QUESTION: Is it ok to get rid of the tub in the family bathroom since there is a drop in tub in the ensuite? How many parents out there would be fine bathing kids in their ensuite?

BACKGROUND: I am renovating our second bathroom (family bathroom) after having finished our ensuite a year ago. This family bathroom had a double vanity and a tub/shower. My plan was to replace the old tub/shower with a new one and make it a quick and easy reno. Now I'm wondering if potential buyers would view this as a turnoff, as I've renovated the rest of the house to be very traditional, and the vanities we are installing might not match the tub apron.

My wife and I wanted to put a freestanding tub and standup shower (if there was room), but it is a family bathroom and I don't know how easy it is to bath kids in an old claw foot tub.

Should I just get rid of the tub and put in a big standup shower since there is still a tub in the ensuite?
