one bloomed!

One of three bulbs I picked up this year has bloomed! the second is just starting to open the flower bundle, the third, well that one is a concern....we well see if it makes it.

I agree with Donna,

Looks more pink than red (is the picture showing a true color?) - anyway I love pink so I think it is gorgeous!

Nice to see you posting pictures and sharing your fun with us. I do think, however, that only three bulbs are just not enough. You really need a lot more ....and more.... and more....lol. Seriously though, they can be addictive and I can see by your orchids in the background that you know how that goes :) -J

it is either minerva or apple blossom. i doubt it is red lion. i got three bulbs, took them out of the boxes and promptly got the mixed up.... i should know with more certainty in about 2-3 weeks when the other two bulbs open their flowers.

It's not apple blossom, so should be minerva.

It's not Minerva and it's not Apple Blossom and I have my doubts that it is Red Lion, it doesn't look red enough. What ever it is, it looks good and your other two bulbs look good too! Mislabels happen to us all!

LOL - oh well! I got them for less than $4 each at home depot, thought i would give them a try. I was thinking it didn't look like any of the pictures on the boxes. i get to see what the really tall one is next...about the same time the second scape on the first should open up.

LOL - yep its more of a solid pink color. i got these mostly to tide me over until my hibiscus are ready to bloom again, thought they would be fun to have in the house.

This one appears to be Minerva. It's a bit on the pale side but still very pretty. One more to go...☺

no idea - i bought three boxes at HD - supposed to be Minerva, Apple blossom and red lion. that first one sure doesn't look like any of the pictures on the boxes!
