Eventually, it could attain 5-6' tall and wide. "Eventually" may be around 10 years. They tend to go for the larger size in the southernmost states with long growing seasons. With the passing of the years, you could prune to control it if it is just a tadtight in there. What you do not want to do is have to prune it eeeevery year. Of course, it sounds like now would be THE time to place it elsewhere if you determine that this location will not work for you.

I would rather let it get to its full size. I might move it forward in the same location. 5-6 feet would be glorious if it blooms!
