Change is not always good.

Saw that characters left and thought maybe some kind of twitter limit type thing then realized that is just a limit on post title length with is a good idea. I dont see anything limiting the length of the actual posts.

Looks like the add a photo option only allows for photos to become part of their system rather than hosting them on your own. Personally I prefer to keep my photos where I have control over them. If for some reason down the road I want to remove something then does houzzz allow for this?

I dont know how much of this has been discussed with the gardenweb community but honestly it looks to me like the whole shebang was bought and rolled into their own community forums. I can imagine many other forums will be seeing a boost in memberships as some folks dont care for this kind of change.

I had felt the gardenweb forum was a bit clumsy and had some hope this would improve things. Dont see it though to be fair have not given it much chance yet.

I find myself already disliking this big change and wonder now how often I will frequent this forum because of it and how many others might feel the same way.

I'm checking out the Vegetable Forum. Maybe they have some ideas.
