I'm sorry to hear this, sundog. When I first tried to log on to the 'new and improved' GardenWeb, I was not allowed for the same reason as you. I don't remember what I did to get around it.......something stupidly simple, probably....but within a couple of seconds I was back in business.

This format is different but I don't think that it will take long to get used to. I'm hoping that you'll come back.

Get an admin to help if you really think both are 'you'. If you have an account on Houzz and on GW with the same name and email ( and password) then you should be able to change your Houzz name to your old GW name by going into your account at the upper right of the home page. A lot of people don't recall their passwords for Houzz so that could be the problem. But you can reinstate your account if you remember your email you set up the account with.

just click "confirm gardenweb account" and it'll let you keep your username and password and original join date
