I wouldn't give up on them just yet. Sometimes it can take a month or longer for some seeds to germinate. I tried germinating seeds in Ziploc bags myself, but didn't do too well. That may have just been me and the possibility of very old seeds. When I started using the small container's with about a 1/2" or so of Miracle Grow Soil Starting Mix - my germination results got much better. This is my first year of getting into growing Super hots. Last year was the first decent garden I had too. That got me hooked. I've had my heating board set at 78 degrees and 3 out of 6 Makko Akokasrade Peppers germinated in 6 days. And the other 3 are now poking up out of the soil. I've had 12 Aji Limon seeds in there since Jan 31 and none have come up yet - but i know they'll eventually pop up. Just give it some time. I think Habanero's take a little longer too.

garretds7 thanks for the advice. I, too, had thought about long germination times but most told me after 2 weeks they would give up.

I have used so many germination techniques I am sure I over think it as all work..

Maybe tonights check will give me a surprise!!
