I'm redoing my master bedroom and want to replace my curtain rods. I know I want very thick rods- I like the substantial look. But I'm undecided on wood or iron rods. My handles and hinges are black but my bedroom furniture is a dark rich wood color- maybe mahogany? I'm not sure. Probably not what I would pick today but with a sleigh bed and several other huge pieces I'm not swapping it out. The end tables (also huge) are brown emperor marble. The carpet is light taupe. What do you think? Do you need a pix? I saw some thick wood ones at BBB that had either a burnished walnut or distressed cherry finish (Cambria) or for Iron I would probably do Restoration Hardware or something- the 2 inch rods.
