Tile and grout

I would love to know the tile size, spacing and grout color. Do I choose a matte tile or glossy to get this look?

Tile size is 3x6, spacing is pretty small - 1/16", and grout color is charcoal from Custom Building Products (Home Depot). We did glossy tile, and I'd recommend that over matte for sure.

Why would you suggest matte over glossy - im struggling with a matte over glossy tile right now and can't decide.

We just did this glossy subway tile with charcoal grout as in this picture and it looks awesome! Thank you Rebekah for your talented design eye. We remodeled our new dated house from 1960 and patterned our kitchen after your design. W/ a couple of changes to fit our smaller kitchen & I am so happy with it!!!!
