under sink organization (kitchen)

Had to share this photo. It is perfect use of the dead space in front of the kitchen sink. (Of one whole book on doing over your kitchen - I think it was of the TimeLife series, back in the 90's - this one photo is what I gleaned.)

When we had our kitchen redone (dh and friend) they put in my 3 must haves. The tip out in front of the sink, garbage can cupboard (no more looking at garbage in a corner) and a sink with the drain on one side. There were many more wants, but these were affordable and practical.

Our sink is in the corner, though it's a single basin sink there is still a whole lot of useful storage space. I had one pull our wire coated basket that has glides that attach to the floor of the cabinet. At the time we moved in I could not find any more such baskets so instead I purchased trays that easily slide forward and back to hold all my cleaning supplies. I like the idea of this L shaped shelf at the front for storing towels and cleaners without their falling off the back. Very smart design as long as it's easily removable when repairs need to be done.
Here's a picture of under my sink. The round thing on the garbage disposal is a magnetic LED light that can be moved from side to side and pushed to light so I can more easily see what I need.

justgottabeme--I have one of those Command baskets on the door of my bathroom cabinet! I bought it in an Odd Lots-type store. And I can't find them again. Have you seen them for sale anywhere?

I'm really liking it, and something I think I'd like another one.

And love you "baskets/trays as drawers/pullouts approach. Also like your use of the floor in the front to make room for the door-mounted organizer.

Yep, I too love baskets as drawers! I have this VERY deep cabinet in the bathroom of our rental and it was total mess. I implemented this approach almost 4 years ago, and it has remained neat ever since.

And for the doors I found these plastic basket like things that were meant for the lids of plastic containers in the kitchen:

Ooh, I remember those "lid baskets" from an earlier post somewhere, I think.
