Thanks for posting the pictures Hardy Chicago has always been an old time favorite on palate.

Mice not a problem here (lucklily) just rabbits here and there in veggie garden, thought i had one trapped in fenced off garden one year until i seen the little rascal go back out thru our chain link fence.

No longer a problem now in garden area.

    Hi Hoosier,

as an example i have some fig pictures named like - Hardy Chicago 1.jpg

if i take another picture of same plant i name it - Hardy Chicago 2.jpg. and so forth.

It then enables the drag and drop feature from our hard drive .

I change the text under picture by right clicking mouse then renaming it as above.or similar.

The camera time stamps picture month, date, year and the time which helps me document certain things like how long the figs take to ripen etc etc.

At end of year i burn them on disk and mark the year on disk.

I have names for each tree. Sweetlee#2, #3, #4 Meyer31, 32, Meiwa, ,Nagami. I place the date behind the tree I snapped that picture.

    EXP.

Sweetlee #3 at 2 years old from seed sprout

Here is sweetlee #4 at 2 years

Not only do I know which tree and at what date, but the computer files the pics to each trees age. I am mainly a citrus web user with more figs trees than citrus trees. That is because figs are infinity easier to propagate and grow than citrus trees so I just point and shoot the figs and have no names or dates for the individual trees.
