My builder uses Houzz Pro to plan the timeline and give detailed estimates and daily updates with photos of progress, and provide invoices at pre-agreed key points in the build. This made the whole experience much more efficient and stress-free.

Houzz takeover not promising

So far this bites, but I did send them a comment email about two things:

Have and Want lists aren't an option for our profiles like they used to be. All you can do is upload photos.

No separate section for pure exchanges, everything is lumped in one discussion list.

At this point, it's better than having nothing, but there might be more user-friendly options if Houzz doesn't make some changes.
