Is the television watched often?

You have some lovely furniture pieces. I think you need a more colorful area rug that incorporates the blue in your pillows. Also the pictures, which are really nice, seem too small on the large wall over the couch.

tv is alway on, we can see it from the kitchen.

Try placing the sofa where the chairs are now, floating in the room with the back toward the kitchen. Move the display shelving from the windows and place the two chairs there with one of the end tables and lamps between them. Place the display shelves where the sofa is and lower the prints to 6 or 8 inches above the display shelves. The lamps seem a bit small for the rest of the furniture, so consider lamps with a fatter base with some color. Lime green would be a good contrast color to bring in the room for accents.

lovely room, however I think there are too many square shapes happening. A round or oval coffee table would break it up. Plus a round shaped rug could work well too.

Also the tv is dominating the fire place, can you separate these and have the tv mounted on the wall?

Great suggestion to float the couch and one of the cabinets in the room should work as a sofa table for it, too. I normally am not a fan of a couch in front of a window, but I can see that working here or moving it to where the chairs are now.

moving the tv is the first step it should not be up there. put the couch where the chairs are, put the console where the couch was with the tv wall mounted over it. flank the coffee able with the chairs. put the shelf under the window, behind the sofa.

if you dont like to watch that much tv you might, maybe (not sure esthetically), to the L of the FP.

You need this garden stool between the chairs to pull your blue accent color to another area. As others have said, float the sofa to face the wall. I'd bring the mirrored cabinet behind it and put your two lamps on it, snaking a long extension cord under the carpet and connecting it to their plugs. TV should go on the sofa wall atop a low credenza (not a TV stand) 25% wider than the TV. The chairs need to go at the window and the matching coffee, end tables and big shelf need to be eliminated - they just aren't right with the seating and are blocking up the space. You have no tall pieces so you've drawn a line all around the space. To change that, close the triangle above the mantel with drywall and hang your oval mirror there, but horizontally. Left of the FP, add a tall shelf or bookcase filled with pretty decor. Add a glass coffee table to help keep an open feeling.
