I am sorry, but you have asked the first question that I cannot answer. We told our builder that we wanted our floor stained the same color that he had in his house, and that's what he did. This was one a very few decisions that we were not involved with deeply enough to know the details, but thank you for the compliment. If I had to guess, I would say it is a walnut color.

@Jacqueline ... Some kind of walnut colored stain. I have no idea the name brand of the stain, sorry. Yes, the wall color is Sherwin Williams Big Chill (SW7648). We are happy with it, yes. These pictures were taken five years ago, and this color has not changed since. Gray is a hard color to get right since it can look green, purple, etc. This looks more like a true light gray to us, but then again we have a lot of natural light coming into this area. It will be a week or so before I can confirm for you, but I believe the baseboards and trim are a gloss. The walls are not a gloss.

The wall paint is Big Chill (SW7648), using the Sherwin Williams Interior Midsouth Acrylic Flat Latex (B-Series White base). The trim is in the Sherwin Williams ProClassic Interior Oil-Based Semi-Gloss in Extra White base (untinted). Hope this helps.
