Its going to be very difficult to positively ID any iris from a picture..The top picture you can tell its a historic iris..so you maybe able to find one close and someone here more familiar with historic will be able to give you a couple of ideas.. bottom one I am no ideaa but someone else might

Could be "Accent", but there are several others very close. The only reliable way is to grow a named variety next to it, but if it is you now have two starts of the same one, but if you miss you have a new named one.

I would have sworn the first one was Picador (Morrison, 1930) but the style crests are red - and Picador has gold style crests. Whatever it is, it's a beautiful historic variety. Likely 30s-40s. The second one is very distinct. You might get a name on it.

I contacted the villa in Tuscany where I took the photos, but unfortunately, their gardeners said only that they have been growing there for years, and so they were not able to identify the varieties. I had also contacted an iris society in Florence (Tuscany), but they couldn't identify them from the photos. I'll keep searching. It's a good way to pass the time while this terrible winter hopefully comes to an end.

I looked at "Picador" and it is close, but besides the difference in the style crest, my photo also shows a distinct reddish edging to the standards. I also looked at "Accent" but the standards are more yellow, while the iris in my photo has a definite blush.

I have searched a lot of irises online, and I think the irises may be "Ali Baba" and "Love the Sun". Photos of both of these, found online and at multiple sources, seem to match my photos pretty well, but I'm open to opinions or suggestions.

Looking at the pics of Ali Baba.. I see more pink rose in the standards than the one you have pictured.. Now Love the Sun is a possibility....Correctly id ing an iris from a pictures is a long long shot..

I agree that it's not easy to ID from a photo, but so far it's all I have to go on. I do think that "Love the Sun" might be correct. I am still looking at more possibilities for the first one.

You might be onto something there with Frank Adams..

Frank Adams is very close, but one thing I definitely don't see is the distinct reddish edge on the standards that my photo shows.
