Shower wall

Is it cheaper to put up the glass panel wall or build a tile wall? Thinking about a shower and my options.

What is your white shower wall made of? Doesn't look like tile. Really like how it extends past the glass walls/door and matches the ceiling, which is presumably wood.

I spoke with the builder about this. This is solid surface material, (like Hi-Macs by LG, corian, formicas new solid surface material), that they routed w/ a 1/8" wide and 1/4" deep grove. Be sure to caulk generously at each grove where the solid surface material meets up with the wood shiplap.

But wouldn't the grooves hold water from the shower?
