Are the screens a built in screen or a kit?

We recently had a similar screened porch done and have had a few too many problems with rain water flooding/wetting the furniture items, gym equipment. Any ideas to help with this problem would be greatly appreciated. My husband has tried adding these unsightly tarps to minimize the rain coming in from the large screens. No long-term solution there.

By the way, it is only the heavy rains, when water is coming down at an angle, that have managed to cause these problems. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
