Dug up a sub-mini plug for my home phone earphone jack. Turns out the jack only works when u use talk/listen mode. I wanted to transfer some messages from phone answering machine to computer but when I use the message review function the jack has no output. Huh? I can hear messages on phone speaker but there is no output on jack? Sounds odd?
