My builder uses Houzz Pro to plan the timeline and give detailed estimates and daily updates with photos of progress, and provide invoices at pre-agreed key points in the build. This made the whole experience much more efficient and stress-free.

    What surface did you find for a 12' island? I am looking for options for my 11.5' island. Beautiful kitchen!! Do you have photos of more angles of this space? I would love to see a close-up of backsplash and hood. Thank you!!

    We used granite. I would recommend using a high quality granite shop and asking for "Book End Matched" slabs. Using the book end matched slabs lines up the grain of the stone at the seam and almost makes the seam disappear if done correctly.
