Katie, is this fixture being used in a dining room? If so can you provide the measurements of the dining table?

Minus boxes and rug which is too small… the table will be a 10-12 seater. It's hard to see from the picture, but the room is very large. Also need some sconces for the wall pictured. Table will be a heavy Rhodesian Teak (made of old railway sleepers). I'm having a lighting dilema for the chandelier- needs to be something dramatic and beautiful.

Hi Kate, I love C&C lighting! We chose one of their fixtures for our new home too. :-) The Lodestar is stunning and height-wise I think would work well for the tall ceilings of your space.

However its diameter is listed as 65" online....how wide is your table? Is your table round, oval or rectangular? From what I understand, the chandelier's width shouldn't exceed the width of your table. So, if it's a round 10-12 seater, it should be fine. If rectangular, not sure.

Btw, along with Currey and Company and Arteriors (as previously suggested), take a look at Visual Comfort, Hudson Valley and Crystorama for some gorgeous chandeliers and wall sconces. Oly Studio may have a few things you like also. Good luck and hope you post your progress!

It's recommended to have a chandelier for dining room that is 1/2 to 2/3 the width of the dining table. Since the chandelier is often the focal point in the dining room I would saying going bigger rather than smaller is better. The Curry and Company Lodestar is a great choice.
