There is pressure drop and flow rate usage at each orifice along the loop. It would be like having a double line from the water entry point. Water flow would split in two directions and meet at the center of the loop. If there is sufficient pressure and flow rate the loop is good as in a single line placed in a curved manner twice as long. If the source doesn't have sufficient pressure and flow rate the loop will water less in the middle of the loop as the single line would at the end. The disadvantage of the loop is you have no way to flush the lines if the water quality is not as clean as can be and may cause clogging in the middle of the loop. Someone else may know more. I'm not an expert, but it makes sense, so I did design my system in one continuous loop. Seems to work well. :)
