I'm thinking about doing backsplash of 1x1 mosaic field tile (an Oceanside Geologie tile on super clearance). I was just going to do the whole backsplash in the field tile, but my husband is worried about cleaning it and thinks it should just be an accent somehow. Any input on if it is difficult to clean a 1x1 field tile (particularly glass)? Any good ideas of how to incorporate the field tile as an accent? In the bathroom, I have it as a horizontal stripe, but no idea how that would look in a kitchen backsplash context.
