Hi Dotty,
I'm feeling more comfortable here now that DH has changed a
few things for me, made the font bigger and I now have a different
background (morning glories). Much easier on these old eyes.
As to
pruning, I've started, did a couple of roses yesterday and pruned back a
sambucus, dug up a hosta bed to replenish the soil, hostas are still
sitting under a top. The clematis have all started to bud out and grow
so will be doing a bit of snipping here and there in the next couple of
days. Things are looking up as the honey bees are back working the
crocus, haven't seen that for about 6 or so years. I think it's pretty safe to start pruning and tidying up now so I'm going for it.

Oooooh, I am envious! I can't find any plants other than my tallest shrubs and trees right now, though we have gotten over 40 degrees 3 times in the last 3 weeks, so there is a hope of spring. We got something like 7' of snow this winter with over 3' of hard-packed snow remaining on the ground, so it will be a while before we see our gardens enough to do any tidying.
