Hi all,

I recently bought a fig tree, a "Lattarula" or an Italian Honey. I'm super excited and nervous about it, I've never worked with a fruit tree before. I got it from a local nursery and have been keeping it in my basement for a few days now.

Here's my info, I live in Portland, OR zone 8a. My basement is around 50-60 degrees.

I read that fig trees kept above 40○F can create premature growth, should I just keep it in my garage where it's colder?

I think it's in a dormant state, no leaves or stems whatsoever.

I'll post a picture tomorrow.

Any advice would be nice, thank you!
