any idea of the cost of the wall system?

This 15 foot long unit was first lacquered in red, then black and rubbed around the edges to show the red. The back of the wall is bamboo. The whole unit consists of the upper shelves, a desk, drawers and lower cabinets. Manufactured, delivered and installed the unit cost $16,700.00.

what does the connection detail look like? from the shelving units to the walls.

This unit is built specifically for the wall it is on and all the parts and the bamboo backing are permanently installed to the drywall substrate with screws, finishing nails and liquid glue. It isn't going with the client if they move.....

he wall system was designed be me and manufactured by my custom mill work company. It is a combination of bamboo veneer and black lacquer with rubbed corners showing a Chinese red lacquer which was applied first.
