Can this lighting fixture be mounted with light down instead of up as pictured?

You need to checkout the product in person, not through a photo. Although it may work upside down, the light shades might not be fixed to the frame and could fall down. you'll find other light fixtures similar in style for your exact use and need! I hope this helps.
