Bedside table help!

I'm looking for a pair of bedside tables to help update my bedroom. The skirted table has got to go! I would like them to be light in color, with some storage. The plastic has been removed from the shades of the lamps but I have recently updated the lamps! Any advice/sources for bedside tables less than $1,000 for the pair would be very much appreciated!

I like the idea you have going that the bedside tables are not matching. What don't you like about the skirted table? It fits the space nicely and a new skirt could give you the opportunity to bring in color and pattern. Do you have equal space on both sides of the bed? Maybe one piece could be a mirrored piece? HomeGoods, Pier One, Overstock have options that you can do for less than $1,000. Depending on what you ultimately decide, you lamps may need to be taller.

Your bedside table really should not match each other. See if you can get one that is mirrored with drawers & one that is white with drawers. Ikea is a good place to look for white. Check 'shop' 'houzz' 'bedroom' 'night stands' see if you like any of those. Sometimes you can just buy them through Houzz or it will tell you the source to find them.

Actually I disagree. The artwork above the bed has symmetry to it so I think the nightstands or tables should as well or else it looks unbalanced. I would do 2 distresses nightstands that has color to it. Pull a color from the pillows or do a soft distressed yellow. Mirrored furniture might look good but go for a more distressed look rather than 2 elegant mirrored tables. If you do that, you might think about adding some mirrored frames above the bed so that it catches your eye and draws the eye upward.

Maybe some mirrored nightstands to bounce light around. Something maybe a bit transitional and more modern. Add some more contemporary accents. Maybe an abstract art.

I think I would add some brighter non neutral color in accessories and art. A large art above the bed.

Hi, take a look at Pottery Barn. It looks like they have several choices (below are just a few examples) of bedside tables from $299-$599/each.

Looks like you have quite a lot going on with all the pictures--I count 13 between the walls and the tables. Cut back on some. Too many over the bed and too many on the tables.

If you want to replace skirted table you can surely find a nice table for under 1000. Move a couple of the pics over the bed to a place over the bedside tables.

Bedside tables should not match. There are great choices at Pottery Barn. Lamps are way to small when you have a bed that has such high posts. I would pair down the art. Because the posts are so high it makes the pics seem way to close together. An lots going on on the night stands as well. Less is more!
