Hi whip, depending on the type of tree, it could take as little a few weeks up to several months. what are you wanting to wire?

H.

I'm wiring an O. Decaryi. Not a recent picture, but this is the plant.

I've left wire on for more than a year in some cases.

I had to wire a citrus branch in place and left it a long time. Depends on the plant.

I did check the wire periodically to make sure it wasn't impinging upon the branch.

the wires need to stay on as long as possible. you need to regularly inspect the wires and if you see that a wire is impinging upon the growing branch then you cut the wire off.
