This is a porcelain tile made to resemble wood plank. Each tile is laid separately. There are soooo many versions of this kind of tile these days- I suggest searching "Wood Plank Tile" and you're sure to get hundreds of results, including quality retailers in your area. I also (always) recommend a two-part epoxy style grout for stain resistance... because who wants to struggle with maintaining the color of your grout? Good luck with your project!

This top is a reclaimed, live-edge piece of fallen black walnut that was expertly fabricated by TreeIncarnation in MD. If you are in another part of the country, you might look up local furniture makers or carpenter/craftsmen in your area to make you something in this style.

Thank you Lauren. I am an architect in New York. (Long Island) I am seriously considering this for the countertop in my own kitchen.

I will research some fabricators in the area. Maybe upstate NY.....
