Due to a lack of storage space in our kitchen, I'm getting our contractor to close off the space under the island overhang. My dilemma is that I just don't know what will look good and be functional at the same time. The island is 94" long, and only 11" deep under the overhang. I considered tilt-out bins for potatoes and onions, etc., and also the wicker baskets that slide out, but they are not available in an 11" depth. Help is GREATLY appreciated, as I have my contractor scheduled for Thursday!
