Looking for advice on what to do about my kitchen cabinets. When we purchased this house a couple of years ago this project was down the list but I can no longer live with the 80's honey oak.

I thought about painting it off white with a brown glaze on top but welcome your input. I plan to paint the bottom of the island black to match my table at the other end of room.
I will be keeping the tile back splash and Quartz counter tops.
I have purchased stainless steel pulls and knobs to install.
