Just throwing this out there...

Been thinking of starting a Facebook page on small engine and tractor and lawn and garden tool repair. Would any of the people on here that consistently give good advice be interested in that? It would have to be a closed group to attempt to keep out spammers and scammers.. Not sure how many on here have facebook pages, though.

Not a bad idea, though this type of thing is as social media as I get. No facepalm here!

Facebook; tried it years ago, hated it, deactivated my account and will never go back.

I would certainly check it out. I administer a Group page on FB, and have it set up where either I or the assistant administrator must approve applicants. Have over a thousand members, and so far we haven't been spammed.
