Really need to see the room and furniture to decide. Could go either way.

Need to see the items that will go with it. The rug itself is pretty but that could be ruined with the wrong color things on or near it.

I think it looks gorgeous (I wish I could enlarge it to see it better though.) Only thing is that if it were me, I'd get tired of so much blue, much faster than I would a neutral. I'd choose a neutral, especially in this weave/pattern, then accent with the blue color. But that's just my personal opinion, many others would recommend accenting with this beautiful rug in the color shown.
