I just used some calendars and some of the seed magazines, gardening magazines, whatever I have that I'm just going to throw away. :) I sit and fold them while watching a movie. I use tape, but I guess a glue stick would work too. I just hate messing with glue. LOL Tape is easier for me. Your way is fine too. I've used plain paper before. Like I said, it's whatever you have handy.

I'm so excited to plant your seeds. I planted the tumeric root you sent. I have my peppers and tomatoes, Geraniums and some other flower seeds planted and under the lights. I like to get a jumpstart on plants since we live in such a short growing season. :( I overwinter a lot of things in my house. It looks like a jungle half the time. I'm going to plant the Sweet Lemon Tree seed tonight. So much fun!

I winter sowed everything you sent me right away. I'm dreaming of a spring garden full of both food and flowers to enjoy.

I'll second that! Fresh veggies and beautiful flowers. Doesn't get much better than that.....

Connie is a great trader. Fast shipping and good communication. Sent generous amounts of seeds and forgave me very quickly when I accidentally asked for the same seeds she'd claimed in a trade with another member and had them sent to me anyway! Very kind lady and would trade again anytime.

Connie is an amazing trader! I was so pleasantly surprised by her generous offer by SASE. She sent WAY more than I requested which for a new gardener was quite a wonderful welcome to this fun tradition of swapping seeds. I will definitely have seeds to pay forward with. She was also great with communication and keeping in touch! THANKS Connie!

Connie sent to me in the FOTESS April Showers Bring May Flowers Swap and sent a wonderful package - very generous in the number of plants she sent and everything arrived looking great and even with some festive wrapping around the plants. I contacted Connie on August 11th to initiate a trade. I was
interested in cuttings from a dwarf pomegranate and some seeds. Connie
contacted me the same day to let me know that she had all of the items I was

I've had them for years, but have barely opened them.

I also have a package of garlic bulbs that I bought from Wal-Mart and never
planted, or I can offer rosemary cuttings. Oh, and a unopened package of 4 inch
plastic plant tags or two small, round herb pots, one brown and one red. I know
the red pot has a few chips around the lip, but it has never been used. The
brown pot hasn't been used either, but I can't remember right now if there are
any chips.

Any thing else that I can offer would be seeds. From looking at your lists, you
might be interested in the following:

I mailed Connie the 'Old Time Garden Wisdom' book, the Minnesota
Midget melon and Little Finger carrot seeds on August 30th. USPS tracking
states that the package was delivered on September 2, 2016.

No email from Connie, stating that the package had arrived.

No response to an email sent to Connie on September 15th, asking if the
package had arrived.

Resent the email on September 28, again asking if my package
had been delivered. Received a reply the same day stating that due to a medical
condition, the cuttings had not been cut and that Connie would try to get them taken
care of the next week.

I understand that you feel that you were called out in a public fashion, but I
went to Val for advice on what I should do when I hadn't heard anything from
you for over a month after receiving my package.
Like I said before, I understand *********, and I understand that medical
concerns can stop anything in it's tracks. However, I sent my items to you
August 30th and according to USPS, they arrived on September 2nd. As of today,
it has been 6 weeks. This is unfair to me. I feel that I have been very patient
and polite. If you are unable to fulfill the trade that we agreed upon, please
send my items back and we can be done.
