Yes. I grew Ark Traveler last summer, in a large pot. Was it the most productive? No, the potted tomatoes didn't do that well, but considering that, they produced steadily, flawless small to medium sized pink fruit, and, as memory serves, they tasted good.

Ark. Traveler is a popular tomato to grow in Ok. Personally I like a red tomato over a pink one. But I also sell at a farmers market and the red ones sell better.

There are too many variables in tomatoes and what people want. I know the Ark Traveler is supposed to be drought tolerant. Personally the pink tomatoes just don't have the acid flavor I'm looking for in a tomato.

I will provably start some seeds in a couple of weeks for warm season crops. I have a greenhouse and they just seem to grow faster than starting them inside a house.

I have good luck with Arkansas Traveler grown in the ground, and the fact that it's more pink than red and not terribly acid is fine by me.

I've grown both the regular Arkansas Traveler (sometimes sold as Traveler 76) and Burgundy Traveler many times.....probably 2 out of every 3 years....and they grow fine for me in OK just as they did in TX. They grow well for people all over the USA and probably around the world as well. Most tomato varieties will grow anywhere the weather allows and one like Traveler that was developed in this part of the country tends to do exceptionally well in our summer heat (which often is a stumbling block for some varieties that were bred or selected in persistently milder climates than ours). I think you'll be very happy with Arkansas Traveler if you like milder tomatoes. I like all kinds of tomatoes, so grow them in many colors and enjoy the differences in their flavors. One reason I like Arkansas Traveler is that it is later than many of the other varieties I grow, so it is just beginning to produce ripe tomatoes when some of the others are slowing down in the heat. Most pink tomatoes are milder and sweeter than traditional red beefsteak/slicer types, so keep that in mind when choosing varieties to grow.
