? Factory sealed carrera tile- anyone??

I went to the tile store today and was planning on looking at porcelain look-a-like marble tile. The salesman said there is a carrera tile that is factory sealed and is non porous and great for the bathroom. Has anyone heard of this, have it, happy with it? It is more expensive than porcelain but much less than some of the other marble. Love your opinions. Thanks.

Coated in resin is more like it. That can chip and peel.

Would like to hear from anyone who has laid factory sealed stone tiles, how to clean then as mine look as though they have been sealed dirty/dusty and i need to clean them , maybe taking off seal if this is possible

I have used Q - Seal for years with great results. Send them your stone and you get it back sealed. One downside is shower floors. As the top is well sealed the moisture below takes a lot longer to evaporate. Light color stones appear dicolored around the drain. Nothing wrong with the product but it is something to be aware of. http://q-seal.com/ Hope this helped.
