Leaves on ceanothus (Joyce Coulter, I believe) are brown spotted. This morning I actually saw the pests -- a couple of tiny black hairy caterpillars. I brought one in to take a picture, but I have been unable to identify the species. You can see the small ceanothus leaf for scale, plus the damage to the leaf. Any ideas?
