My mature vision is having trouble seeing a problem for a weeping maple. Any chance of larger pix?

If they rub one almost has to go. Not sure I can eyeball which one.

I would be more concerned by where it's located. It doesn't have much room to spread where it's at.
Weeping Japanese Maples gain height, unless staked, by weeping over the older branches and shading them out. I usually cut off those branches that are going to lose the battle for light in a few years. That way you end up with a thin umbrella rather than a congested dome.

Okay, now I see it clearly. You'll have to decide which of those two branches gives you the best overall form and remove the other (carefully) at the trunk. Are you familiar with proper pruning regarding the branch collar?

Your plant is still young. I'd wait a bit to do any serious pruning except for the obvious crossing branches where you would take out the lower one.
Maybe you can make yours look a bit like one of mine someday.

As indicated weeping lace-leaf cultivars grow as mounds with branches piling up on top of one another, unless stretched up by selecting a leader and keeping it tied to a stout stake until the desired height is reached. So it may not be practical or even desirable to try to get one to have all of its branches perfectly spaced. The also previously mentioned lack of adequate room for full development in that small corner on the other hand does appear to have definite potential to threaten the future of the tree - repeated cutting of the side branches back to get the tree out of the path is just the thing to spoil its beauty later.
