the deck is a medium grade, big-box-store, composite, sitting on a framed treated system. Both of which are not my preference or preferred way of installing a roof deck. I prefer to install modular systems that float on the roof rather than the permanent frame and board systems. This way the rooftop membrane can be accessed in the future with ease, and with very little repair costs to the deck. This deck was already installed on site by the home builder.
