Hi seil, I tried that and contacted the vendors to no avail. The only promising verdor his hairloom roses. They told me they are growing them and the will be ready this summer or in the fall.

The link on HMF is not accurate, this is only record when plant was introduce. I found on Heirloom but they failed to rooted this variety. I tried my own several times from my friends rose bush but also failed. I'm trying again this fall

I've been trying to replace my Moon Shadow ever since the neighbor's Bernese Mountain Dog demolished mine 5? years ago with no luck. I've talked to Heirloom roses and they are always vague. I even tried growquest, nothing ever happened. If you're able to successfully source one I love to know where. It's made more annoying that it was an impulse buy at home depot. I don't understand why they were so readily available then and almost impossible to find ten-ish years on.

I hate it when that happens. I bought one called Scottish Blue at HD in 2003 and lost it in 2008. It's not listed in HMF! It was a lovely lavender rose, the prettiest one I ever had. I just don't have good luck with lavender/mauve roses.
