Stainless steel would be my choice even though it doesn't hide scratches. Another pick would be using granite sinks which tend to be more pricey and heavier.

Thank you for your advice. I really appreciate it.

I didn't want the look of a stainless steel sink but I wanted it's durability. I chose a Blanco Silgranit sink. The price wasn't too bad and it comes in several different colors. :)

You can also have one fabricated in a Caesarstone or other quartz solid surface. You'll have to be sure it is installed properly and with enough cabinet support below.

Often fabricators store leftover pieces so you wouldn't have to purchase an entire slab.

I've always loved cast iron sinks. We've had white ones in our kitchens for the last 40 years. When we updated our kitchen recently we got rid of the old cast iron over-mount sink (which was approx. 30 years old and still in great shape) and replaced it with an almost identical new one that could be under-mounted. Habitat for Humanity took our old sink for their resale store as it looked like new with no scratches.

I've installed a couple of used Kohler cast iron sinks in rehabs since they did look new. I couldn't look at myself in a mirror if I ever installed a new sink that only cost $30.

I have a fireclay sink in my own kitchen and I like the look but for practicality, I miss my old Kohler cast iron sink.

I second the recommendation of a Blanco Silgranit sink. They are gorgeous and super low maintenance.

Just don't get black silgranit. Looks bad and looks dirty even with little use.
