It's not uncommon for new vines to die back. I assume you are not having leaves drying out - just new vines, right? I just clip them back to the next set of good leaves, and it will encourage them to send out another vine. Your 'KP' looks very healthy so don't worry!

Denise- I've only had one maybe two leaves dry out and that was after reporting it. It's just the vines, not all of them but some and I wasn't sure if it was normal.

I see that happening to some of my plants occasionally as well, and I wonder what the cause is. When they grow into a light bulb, they always die back, but that is obvious. It also happens to some that don't. Maybe it's lack of humidity? Not sure.

Oh, and it also happens to young vines if they are clipped to support or are otherwise forced to point downward. They always want to grow up or sideways, and if the plant detects it cannot point a new vine up or at least to the side, it kills off the vine tip an grows another from the last node that hopefully CAN grow upwards.

I have plenty of humidity but some of the tips still dry out.
