Yes! I have seed coming from the US, should be here any day, I was also able to obtain an 18 month old seedling here in Australia.

Species wise I'm growing:

aulicum, calyptratum, blossfeldiae, iguazuanum, mandonii, papilio, psittacinum, morelianum, yungacense.

All are growing from seed so quite young still.

I saw some teyucuarense seeds go for $137.50 on eBay recently, would have loved to have got them however a little too much for me. I have also read that teyucuarense doesn't set seed, do you know?

Yes, I had read this about teyucuarensis and also h.evansiae. Something else I had read about teyucuarensis indicated that the entire population is infected with mosaic virus, tho asymptomatic.

As you probably saw on this site, I've been posting about my mandonii going into bud. My collection of species hipps has been much like yours, with many young seedlings, and great anticipation. Now, several of these seedlings have finally matured and started to bloom--h.evansiae last month, and mandonii now. Have you located Mauro in Brazil?

I wonder about supposed teyucuarensis seeds for sale, as I had thought this species couldn't produce it's own species seed?

I hope your new mandonii grow as fast as mine did. Keep us posted!

So Far my H. teyucuarensis has no evidence of virus.Here it is..Hopefully it will bloom next season. Your H. mandonii is stunning!!

The anticipation in growing this has been great, probably a large part of what this hobby is all about for many of us.
