What a beautiful room! I'd just move the table between the brown chairs to a coffee table in the center. Then, scoot the brown club chairs closer together so you can move around. Done!

It is such a large room you can have two seating groups. I would have the two red chairs and a table facing the fireplace forming a intimate conversation area/ reading area. Then have the big sofa facing the TV close to the middle of the room then arrange the brown club chairs just in front and too the side of the sofa to form a larger seating group for whole family interactions and watching TV. The bigger coffee table infront of the sofa and keep the smaller occasional table near the red chairs. Not sure where you put the ottoman. Looks like a lovely room love the rich colours.

I tried your idea, but the couch stood out like a sore thumb. It's 9 ft long and very tall so the setting area behind it was totally hidden. Thanks for the advice. It's just time for a new couch.

Can you put the couch where the brown chairs are, then scoot back the red chairs keeping at an angle, but closer to the built ins and fireplace. center the large table in front of the sofa. then put brown chairs directly across from sofa close together with small round table between? No table between red chairs, maybe one table to the side of one by window.
