I doubt it. Out of curiosity do they list a Kelvin rating?

Did some research too on them couldn't find anything to do with Kelvin or lumen.... Also many sites also said how they do nothing. But most were marijuana's sites.. So that was well.... Interesting.......

Do you recommend any light bulbs that could work? Or what to actually look out for? They have to be by the same company or at least have the same amount of wattage and etc...

Just make sure that the bulb is super close to the bean once it sprouts,

If you're limited to that wattage I don't think you'll get much better or worse. If you're testing red and blue look for bulbs that are less than 3000k (red) and another that has a Kelvin rating of 6500k (red).

At 13w each I vouch for what bcloose said - keep them as close as possible to the seedlings.

If you could get a cfl, 54w (~200w equivalent) that will do better.

I'll look around tomorrow to see if I can find any.

But If not I'll use these anyway. Even if they fail to grow it won't make me fail! As long as if I can explain why which would probably be not enough lumens and Kelvins.....

I did a similar project about 50 years ago when I was a kid. But instead of different color lights, I covered the bean containers (cardboard milk jugs) with different color plastic. Can't really remember the outcome, but seem to remember that one color made the bean plants grow toward the light and another color made the bean grow away from the light. ????????????
