Weekend Trivia: thoughts and questions

Hello trivia players,

Nancy and I have been chatting and we are thinking about letting our weekend trivia wind down. At least, we are considering a break. I am facing a very, very busy few months at school which will require lots of evening and weekend work and Nancy is working such a difficult schedule, too, including weekends. We also feel as though we have lost our mojo somewhat and that our questions aren't all that much fun for you any more.

Thoughts? Anyone else up for taking it on at this point? We are planning on doing this weekend-at least, I think we are. Of course, we may need to come up with another regular check-in for the group because I would hate not to hear from you every weekend and I know Nancy feels the same. I consider us friends and don't want to lose that!

You girls have done an amazing job and for such a long time, TM before you. It has been so much fun but honestly it's a heck of a lot of work for you two. How many of us actually come here each weekend to play, not many. I'm not busy like you two are by any means but I know I couldn't do it. Now that the conversation page is gone maybe it is time to wind it down or, how about on Saturdays one of us, or anyone start a 'Coffee Break' thread, keep in touch that way, not necessarily garden related, just friends sitting around having a chat.

I like both your ideas, Annette! I asked the people in charge (I think) about giving us a conversation side on Cottage Gardens, but I guess they didn't think we needed it even though they gave a conversation side to the Home Decorating forum. I am up for anything that lets us keep in touch! :)

I can live with that too, though I will miss it. You both have done a wonderful job for a good long time, and I can totally understand running out of steam. Thank you, Cynthia and Nancy, for all the time you have spent keeping us entertained each weekend. It has been a fun run.

Well, we just tried to fill your shoes, TM. To be honest, I don't think I ever did as well, but it is fun trying. Maybe trivia will be more intermittant, at least for me in the next months. Can you tell I am already missing it?!

I think you all three found interesting trivia questions and gave great clues and explanations. I had fun and will miss the weekly trivia but am also finding that I am not always able to play, last weekend as an example.
