I was trying to post this a couple of weeks ago but couldn't figure out how until now, LOL. This is a tree rose, and was never vigorous to begin with. In fact, the first three years I was pretty sure every winter would kill it.

Surprisingly, it survived but I still don't prune it the way I do my others. Just deadhead and admire the way backlighting makes the coral flowers simply glow.

Anyway, it's been so mild (and dry, sadly) that all the roses stayed green-leaved and blooming. Gingersnap really put on a show starting in mid-February. Thought some folks here could use something bright and cheerful!
