I emailed Houzz a few weeks ago. They indicated they are aware of the truncation problem, and that original versions of FAQs remain intact on their servers.

That's good news. Did they give you any indication on when the full versions would be viewable?

We are aware of the truncation issue. The content is safe, but will
need to be restored and we are hoping to have it resolved very soon.

You might try looking for it on archive.org (a/k/a the Wayback Machine). A few old threads have been fished out of there. It might not be pretty, but it could be helpful to you until Houzz gets the larger FAQ's fixed.

Good suggestion, eaga, but I didn't get lucky with the pages that "The Wayback Machine" had archived. It'd be a bit like finding a needle in a haystack, trying to guess what day the Organic Lawn Care FAQ showed up in the discussions. Unfortunately, the search function wasn't able to find it in the archived pages. Guess we'll just have to hope Houzz gets their act together soon.

You're welcome! I searched for gardenweb(dot)com, and once there I went to the FAQ dropdown list where it was under "Garden FAQs", then I think under "Organic Gardening".

I looked for just such a link, but missed it somehow. Good job! :D
