I keep coming back to this picture!!! :) Love the classic contemporary!

May I take your opinion on a very similar space? It's 4.1m wide and 3.5m deep (upper half of room). Bottom half is 4.1x2.93. Trying to arrange this space the same way.. but also with a sofabed for the one-time-a-year guest :) I'm also planning folding doors (that disappear, folding all the way open) so the room is open as one space with the landing coming from the lower level of the house... (stairs left of photo).... Your quick tip would surely be much appreciated!!

Hi, The dimensions are very similar? Sounds like your plans would work, I think you are working with a designer - in which case they should be able to help you with an space planning for this space. Although not shown in this shot there are folding doors between the two spaces so that they could shut off the Study space when required. Best wishes, Clare

I've seen the doors in other shots, yes. My plan is to not have wall sides to the door opening and have the doors (6 or 8 panels open/fold completely onto each other into what would look like a pair of pilasters
